Sigmund Fleck

Sigmund has an extensive background representing creditors in all aspects of commercial and private banking lending and loan documentation, as well as loan workouts, collection, bankruptcy, and lender liability matters. He also provides counsel and advocacy services to a wide range of closely held businesses and professionals on topics including financing, entity structure and formation, employment disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, equipment leasing issues, land development, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex commercial transactions.

Sigmund serves as outside General Counsel to Aspen Venue Partners LLC, a leading provider of wireless connectivity consulting services to large public venues, major commercial real estate holders, and smart city/campus projects; Liberty Beverage Group, widely known as Hank’s Beverages, one of the nation’s leading gourmet soft drink manufacturers; as well as several local and regional providers of veterinary medicine.

Sigmund regularly represents commercial insureds dealing with stormwater claims and other complex losses. He has represented clients in appellate matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Commonwealth Court, and Superior Court, as well as the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

He regularly provides advocacy and counseling services to private school clients in special education matters, school law, human resources and employment, and general legal matters.

Sigmund has experience representing municipal entities in litigation, with a concentration in handling disputes stemming from wastewater management contracts and plant operations.

Sigmund has conducted numerous jury trials, bench trials, commercial arbitrations, and hearings, and has received a Martindale Hubble AV peer review rating.

Sigmund served in the United States Navy for 21 years, retiring as a Commander in 2008.
